This group of older adventures will enjoy jam-packed weeks full of exploration and adventure. Each week, weather permitting, campers will get to canoe on Floyds Fork, fish in park ponds, participate in archery target shooting, bike the Louisville Loop, hike forest trails, creek walk, build forts, and play games all while learning about the importance of natural places. Campers will also get to meet wildlife each week from one of our partner organizations like Second Chances Wildlife and Idlewild as well as enjoy Sprayground Wednesdays at the Marshall Playground and Sprayground. A similar structure of activities is used each week but, every week is different as we explore new places in the park, have new encounters with wildlife, and delve into over 100 crafts and games. Summer is an adventure, what better place to enjoy it than The Parklands?!
